Building Strong Foundations: UADS Joins Do Drones NZ and Toll Uncrewed Systems in Brisbane
In late January, I travelled to Brisbane for a hands‑on demonstration of the ABZ Innovations C10 industrial cleaning drone, hosted by David from Do Drones NZ and Toll Uncrewed Systems. The session provided valuable insight into the platform’s real‑world performance and reinforced the shared commitment to delivering high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose drone solutions across the region.
The trip was also my first meeting with Toll Uncrewed Systems, UADS’ planned preferred partner for CASA certification and operator training. The Toll team’s strong focus on safety, compliance, and professional standards left a clear impression, aligning closely with the values held by both UADS and Do Drones NZ.
Across all discussions, one message was consistent: ensuring that anyone operating ABZ Innovation hardware meets the highest standards of skill, responsibility, and professionalism. UADS and Do Drones NZ remain committed to supporting a safe, credible, and capable industry — and to distancing themselves from the “cowboy” operators who undermine it.
With strong partnerships forming and training pathways taking shape, 2026 is already shaping up to be a defining year for the region’s drone sector.
